I am happy to share my experience with handball. One day I was surprised to hear the information that I was selected to play the match at the district level. One week ago, I and my team members started to practice on the ground. We practiced handball with all our hearts, and we had always one thought in our mind that we will win the match because we wanted to make our parents proud. We started to practice regularly then one week went by practicing, then finally the day to play the match at the district level arrived. At that time My father sat near me and held my hand, and positively encouraging me for the match, said everything will go well. He also added by saying that this journey you have started and from now on in life many opportunities will come and go then why do you feel nervous, in this match you will play very well. I am always with you don’t take tension and feel happy, that time I felt that I will win definitely because I have all the prayers of my father and he is always with me. I had dinner then started packing and slept.
The next morning, I took bath and got ready for the day. My mom made parantha, I ate breakfast then got ready for school. My father dropped me in the school and wished me all the luck and said don’t feel nervous I’m with you, always. I and my team members were prepared to go to the stadium. The event manager gave a room for us and they gave coupon card for dinner. In the room, my seniors lost the coupon card, and then again, we have gone to the manager room and said sorry for lost the coupon card and we asked the manager to please give us the coupon again for the dinner and they gave agreed.
On the next day, we were ready to play the match of handball. We wore a green t-shirt, green trousers and black Nike shoes. We were going to the ground for playing the match and we start shouting on the ground before playing the game. We had 11 members in the team. 7 members had to play the match and the rest 4 members had to watch the match.
The rule of the handball is:-
Players aren’t permitted to tug, hit or punch the ball out of the hands of an opponent. Players cannot make contact with the ball below the knee. Players cannot make contact with the ball below the knee. Players cannot dive on the ground to regain a loose ball. A player is allowed to use the torso of the body to obstruct an opponent with or without the ball. We started to play and unfortunately, we lost the match of handball. We started packing to come to our school then we called our father to come and pick us up.
The next morning, I and my team girls went to the school and the school principal appreciated us for well-played in the assembly time in front of the students and gave certificates and medals for me and my team’s girls. I am happy to played handball, it didn’t matter whether we won the match or lost it, the main purpose was to play the handball match and we gripped all the opportunities that we got.
