“There is no path to happiness
Happiness is the path”

Happiness is the key to being happy in doing what one loves to do. It is a recognition of a good and prosperous life. There are many definitions of what it means to be happy. After all, we all have different perspectives on how we should craft our life and define our measures of happiness. Happiness can never be seen, it can only be felt. Some may define happiness in terms of their beliefs, faith, desires and aspirations. As there is no single source of happiness in our life, we can accurately say that happiness is a summation of things such as faith, wealth, career, relationship and love. It is the positive attitude towards life. It can be gained by doing good things towards others or treating others the way that makes you and them happy . Happiness depends on every single moment in our lives.
Happiness can be found in every little thing. For instance some find happiness in writing stories, some find being simple and the best person , some find it while dancing, singing, playing etc. Some find happiness in playing with their pets while some find engaging and doing in craft work and so on. So, everyone has a different perception of finding happiness in their lives. For me, I can say I always found happiness when I was surrounded by my friends at school. Our little jokes, helping each other in project work, playing pranks on each other- these are the things I cherish the most. One of the most prominent things I remember about school is indeed a prank. Whenever we were not in the mood to attend a particular class, our friends from different sections would ring the bell that would signal the end of a period. That way instead of sitting for a forty-minute lecture, we only sat for fifteen minutes one. There was a thrill to those episodes, it would make us roll with laughter. John Keats famously said in one of his poems, “a thing of beauty is a joy forever.” And aren’t memories truly valuable things that continue to fulfill us years later? For me, the time I spend with my best friends, telling them everything that worries me and getting a solution to my problems is happiness. Their support is my happiness.
Happiness can be gained by the support system that someone can get by. Having a supportive family or friends will lead to happiness. To be happy, communication is the key. Of course, this doesn’t dismiss the fact that happiness can also be found in solace. Great artists who work on their art in silence, generate joy for themselves. It is basically a state of mind. We live in a culturally-rich world. We all carry a different definition of happiness with ourselves.
Being happy is not easy but then also one should try to find happiness in every little moment of life. One should be happy with whatever they have because everything takes time and patience. You should be a happier person in all the little moments of life and you will get to know that no sorrow can push you down. Whatever happened in your past, whether good or bad, your present should not be affected. One way to do that is by practicing gratitude. Being thankful for everyone and everything we have in life gives us time to appreciate and embrace a positive outlook.
So, if you want happiness in your life then, you need to understand that only you can make yourself happy.

Happiness and sorrow are two faces of same coin. The moment you feel happy, next moment will come with a sorrow. Even sorrow brings value to the happiness. Nobody can identify the moment of happiness if he has not experienced sorrow. Sorrow is equally important experience happiness. Nothing is permanent. Permanent happiness comes from contentment. As Buddha said, “Desire is the cause of sorrow”; You have reduce the desires to be happy. Only contentment leads to happiness.

“Happy” such a happy word. Yes, our life is full of troubles and challenges. but it does mean to leave all our happiness because troubles and challenges makes us strong and gives out experiences. According to me, people are more about the thing that they don’t have. And forgets about the thing that they have. If they realise the importance of their possession, they will be happier.
Everyone has a different reason for being happy. We should find our own happiness. It cannot be copied from anyone. happiness is not a type of result that comes out at the end. But it is the part of our life.

It is so true what you have written and of course, Happiness is a skill that we all can learn. And as you said only one can make himself happy and I agree with this point because in my opinion depends on the external factor to be happy it is not true happiness. A person who has peace inside and outside will be happy only. If we can sit quietly in a room for 20-30 minutes and be happy then we can attain true happiness in our life.

After reading this blog on “Happiness”,
I agree that Happiness is different for everyone, and everybody has different definitions of happiness. For some maybe eating chocolates is happiness for some dancing is happiness. And I also agree to the fact that it is not easy to be happy everytime but one should always try to find it and you also described few ways how one can start to find happiness which is by gratitude and looking for happiness in small things and one shouldn’t depend on others for happiness, because the only person who’ll truly make you happy throughout your life is you. With the hectic schedules in everybody’s life, I believe this is the most important thing one should always aspire for and I extremely enjoyed reading this blog. Best wishes for your Future!

I appreciate the writer for their positive approach that remains throughout the blog. “Everyone wants to be happy, but not everyone knows how to be happy,” is the most beautiful sentence that moved me. Is there anyone in our world who does not desire happiness? The entire world longs for joy, happiness, and bliss. The blog also demonstrates how a student’s mental state changes as a result of new experiences and social interactions. I felt a connection since I constantly consider my future, but things have changed since then. This site has inspired me so much.

Well said!Always a by-product, happiness. It is probably a temperamental issue, and from what I can tell, it might be glandular. However, it cannot be required of life, therefore if you are unhappy, you should stop worrying about it and try to find some jewels in your particular brand of misery. Happiness is an intangible that cannot be acquired, purchased, worn, or eaten. The spiritual experience of living each minute with love, grace, and gratitude is what makes us happy.
The small acts of kindness—a kiss or smile, a kind glance, or a heartfelt compliment—are what make life happy.

Happiness is that thing which comes from inside not outside, The same coin has two faces joy and sadness. The next time you experience happiness, it will be followed by sadness. Even sadness adds worth to delight. Nobody who hasn’t felt grief can pinpoint the exact moment of delight. It’s equally crucial to experience joy and sadness. Everything is temporary, then why desire of everything . Desire is the origin of sadness like when you have a desire of something and somehow you will not get that thing, the next minute you will surely get depressed in order to be happy, apart from that you must reduce your wishes instead of increasing your wishes day by day. The only meaning of happiness is, to do that kind of work which gives you inside satisfaction and that will surely gives you happiness.
