Once upon a time in pink city Jaipur, I was just an ordinary high school student with big dreams. While many of my peers were undecided about their future careers, I had a clear vision – I wanted to become a tax consultant. My journey towards this dream was filled with challenges, determination, and a burning passion for helping others navigate the complex world of taxes.
During my final year of high school, I stumbled into a documentary about taxes, which marked the beginning of my adventure. I felt something inside of me click as I watched. I was enthralled by the complex web of figures, rules, and legislation that governed how organizations and people paid their taxes. I made the decision to embark on a career in this sector at that exact time.
After high school, I enrolled in a reputable university to study accounting and finance. The courses were demanding, and the nights were often long, but I was determined to lay a solid foundation for my future career. I devoured textbooks, attended lectures, and sought out internships that exposed me to the practical aspects of tax consulting.
Meeting a certified tax professional who agreed to advise me was one of the turning points in my path. I learned a great deal about the industry under their instruction.
But of course there were some challenges in my path too and it was hard to get through them. The path to becoming a tax consultant was not without its hurdles. I am facing enough challenges that are pushing me back from my goal such as some of the learning gap I found out is my communication and stress management. I think my nervousness is stopping from achieving these skills. Sometimes I become lazy, to take initiative and sometimes it is fear of judgement that what if I spoke something wrong.
To improve this I am taking more and more initiative in my college by participating in various events of college. I am also currently reading the summary of a book “the art of public Speaking”. The book covers topics like conquering stage fear, organizing speeches effectively, connecting with the audience, using vocal variety, and incorporating compelling stories. It emphasizes practice, preparation, and Self Confidence as essential elements of successful public speaking. Overall, the book aims to empower individuals to communicate confidently and persuasively in various public speaking situations.
Experts say that practice and continuous improvement are keys to becoming a skilled public speaker.
Now the next thing which is yet to be managed is my stress because
If I won’t manage my stress now it would lead to difficulty in every situation of my life. Neither I would be disciplined nor happy in my life. It would delay every work of mine and will reduce my effectiveness and efficiency.
Currently I am trying to be regular in these things
Everyone says that regular practicing of your speech can help us to become more comfortable with the content and flow. Feedback and Reflection- I am trying to seek constructive feedback from peers or mentors after each speech, and reflect on my performance to identify areas which need improvement. Build confidence- I will try to take more initiatives in activities of my college and build my confidence.
The next one is gaining more knowledge, As I am taking initiative in talking to people about finance, how tax laws work and many more about many things. But still there is a long way to go.
I’ve learned from my ongoing journey to become a tax consultant that goals may be attained with tenacity, tenacity, and unshakable passion. It did, however, teach me that the road doesn’t end when the desire is realized. Learning, adjusting to shifting tax regulations and evolving to suit client demands are constant processes in an ever-moving financial environment.
Dreaming Big and Working Hard
My dream to work as a tax specialist was inspired by a single vision and developed. It serves as a reminder that with perseverance and the willingness to face difficulties, aspirations of any size can be achieved. I am grateful for all the challenges that are keeping me moving forward in my life and achieving my dreams.
