In a village where my command on English was limited, my journey unrolls, spotlight my attempt to vanquish the language barrier. My ambition is to work in financial consultant field: few I like to mention are financial analyst, commercial banking, investment banking, tax consultant in Big four companies. Yet, I come across with notable hurdles that obstruct my progress: a lack of communication skills and knowledge. Expressing myself was often a struggle, with words tripping over my tongue. Furthermore, lack of knowledge: The realm of commerce demands extensive knowledge. To remain engaged and make meaningful contribution. I have to dedicate myself to keep me updated in related to current news with latest development in business field and also updated about tax regulation policies all of these things take time. Yet I never gave up in these obstacles. Despite the challenges I faced in expressing myself due to communication issues, I always possessed thoughts and strong opinions that demanded expression.
During my graduation years, a college memory involves my group being tasked, a team project, and we needed to present our report promptly. However, I hesitated to be the first to present because I grappled with self-doubt questioning whether our work was truly worthy of presentation? additionally, I harboured a fear of judgement, concerned about what others might think about our project? Reading : I have been integrated a daily practice of dedicating around 30 minutes to reading the newspaper so it will enhance my knowledge. Its comparable to opening a window to the world. This routine not only broadens my knowledge but also hones my awareness of current events, a crucial skill for a prospective to financial consultant.
Listening: recording myself while speaking has proven to be a transformative experience. Reviewing my recorded speeches has played a pivotal role in refining my speaking skills fine tuning my pronunciation and enhancing my overall delivery. Its significant to polishing a diamond in the rough.
Speaking: I have to take the initiative to participate ingroup discussion with friends. This discussion encompasses a wide spectrum of topics, spanning from politics to popular culture. Engaging in such conversation compels me to express my thoughts with clarity and persuasiveness. With time I anticipate that my fear of public speaking will gradually wane.
The process of acquiring these skills is comparable to the forging of a sword. Each task serves as a hammer blow, shaping our abilities and refining our strength. We are the craftsmen, and our dream is the blade we diligent sharpen to perfection.
